Holly made a fashionably late, grand entrance to this world on December 25, 1978, born to proud parents, Doug and Corrine Plunkett.

Holly grew up in Princeton with her younger sister, Liese and younger brother, Jay. In her early years, Holly spent most of her days at Missezula Lake, swimming in the lake and spending time with dear family and friends. When not at the lake, Holly could be found at the Princeton Arena, where she spent many years figure skating.

Holly met Matt in ninth grade and fell head-over-heels madly in love. Holly graduated from Princeton Secondary School with honors in June 1996.

Holly moved away from her home in Princeton to attend Simon Fraser University in September 1996.

She lived with her Grandmother, Jeannette Johnson, for a few years while studying, before living with Matt. During this time, Holly worked as a skating instructor for the City of Burnaby. Holly graduated from SFU in June 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. The next fall, she attended the University of British Columbia and graduated in April 2003 with a Master of Sciences degree.

Holly is currently working with preschoolers as a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist at Share Family and Community Services, a not-for-profit agency in the Tri-Cities area. She still loves to holiday at Missezula Lake with family and friends, figure skating, and best of all, spending time with Matt.
