Michelle McKibbon and Giovanni Corsi met on April 19, 2003 at Bridges Restuarant at the birthday party of a mutual friend. The night began normally with the two of them sitting at opposite ends of the table from each other but as the night continued, Michelle moved closer to Gio's end and a conversation began.

Once dinner was complete, the birthday girl wanted to dance the night away at Loft Six so the party was on the move. Michelle was feeling a bit under the weather and was about to call it a night until Gio started to talk his way into her coming to the club. Michelle had her doubts and during the conversation she laid her head against Gio's chest and boom, all over the world, fireworks exploded and a new relelationship was forged in his mind. Gio talked Michelle into coming to the club for a bit and they had a great time. The next day, Gio got Michelle's number, called and the rest as they say is history.

The last two years have been a whirlwind of fun and excitement which included vacations, family reunions, new jobs, moving in together and buying a psychotic cat named Pinchy. Then on October 31, 2004 once Michelle returned home from a four week work stint in the Yukon, Gio proposed on the Pier in Dunderave, West Vancouver. I think it's safe for you to assume, Michelle said "yes".

Now, the next chapter of their adventure is about to begin...
